Nursing at Med Center Health is at the heart of patient care. Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants build special relationships with patients, families, and team members. Dorothea Orem is the Nursing Theorist whom we chose to guide our standards in nursing practice, and in our hospitals, nursing is more than a job. It is about making a contribution as a clinical professional, and impacting the delivery of patient care. It is about making choices, being heard and utilizing clinical skills to the fullest. We thrive in a climate that encourages a nurse to flourish and work collaboratively with other healthcare team members.

Certified Nursing Assistant
Certified Nursing Assistants play an important part in the patient care experience. From critical to long-term care, CNAs work alongside other nursing professionals to provide the best care for patients and their families. You can expect an environment where your contributions to patient care and ideas to enhance the workplace are greatly valued. As its own skilled group of nursing, our CNAs enjoy a Shared Governance nursing structure, Unit Practice Councils, and educational and advancement opportunities.
Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity while making a positive difference in your community? Consider becoming a CNA. Learn how we can help you reach that goal through our paid CNA Trainee Program.
Clinical Ladder Program
We offer a Clinical Ladder for Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. This is a voluntary program that recognizes and rewards bedside RNs and CNAs for developing their skills and contributing to improve direct patient care. The Clinical Ladder is both education-driven and criteria-based with measured outcomes. It is designed to support and facilitate initiatives that will strengthen the professional environment and promote innovative, evidence-based practice. It is the acknowledgement of professional commitment and recognition of excellence in providing quality nursing care. Not only does the Clinical Ladder encourage and stimulate the professional development of nursing, but it also enhances the perspective of teamwork. It is an opportunity to initiate and impact processes that improve the outcomes of patient care.
