Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Must be able to perform various machine operating tasks: machine setup, loading machine, unloading machine, and check coating viscosity twice per shift, perform prescribed machine troubleshooting, inspecting parts and other prescribed machine operating duties.
Must be familiar with the basic machine functions in order to perform the tasks stated above.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
One to two years manufacturing experience a plus.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be able to read operation standards and complete various daily reports, i.e. quality, production.
Light to moderate physical effort required.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility in order to operate assigned equipment for at least eight (8) or more hours per day.
Work performed in a non-air conditioned Plant environment.
Will be required to use primer, adhesive, and painting coatings related to job.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
