Are you interested to work for an exciting growing automotive company? Stratus Plastics is looking for skilled material handler/forklift driver for our Morgan town location on the midnight shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM.
Construct packaging materials as needed for manufacturing.
Remove material, packaging after production run has been completed.
Ensure all job specific items are clearly identified.
Ensure fork lift is in good mechanical condition to provide safe operation to include completion of daily check list.
Maintain a timely delivery and orderly storage of packaging and components.
Provide any added assistance to other workers when time is available or requested by the Production Supervisor.
Maintain skid counts as required.
Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
Completion of any other duties as assigned.
Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct
Transport material, components and packaging to meet production requirements and as necessary auxiliary equipment to work area.
Resin Control Responsibilities: Technical working knowledge of resin is required to perform the additional functions include but are certainly not limited to:
Fill raw material hoppers and mix material as required.
Monitor flow and levels of resin throughout the shift
Complete raw material lot tracking as it relates to resin
Deep cleaning of loaders, hoppers and dryers at mold change
Maintain loaders, dryers, and hoppers
Report any problems and recommendations in a timely fashion
Provide training as required relating to knowledge on resin.
secondary school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in Material Handling and Shipping/ Receiving
preference given to those who have experience specific to plastic injection molding and/or paint and assembly in an automotive manufacturing environment.
willingness to work overtime to support customer requirements
